Drone Inspections
Construction has changed over the years, and with the changes drone technology now, we are able to assist within the construction industry where previously high risk jobs were a major concern. Long term construction progression surveys can alleviate the need for regular site visits - with our drones deployed at regular intervals we can send same reports photos and videos to a client whilst they remain in the office, showing the progression on site in real time.
Assisting with hard to reach areas such as over water objects at sea - drones can safely make the journey to view the structure with the client present to remain in compliance with relevant health and safety legislation for them.
Roof & Building Surveys
A major area for Dan Hillier Aerial Photography is our expertise in the roof survey industry. With increasing cost of living and business alike, the expenditure of having scaffolding erected at a site is immensely expensive now, typically well into four figure sums, and that’s before any surveyor has attended a site to inspect. We are able to deploy our drones out at a sight with appropriate authority from the CAA and full risk assessments in place and capture the highest highs of buildings normally impossible to reach to provide high definition imagery - up to 48 megapixel images - of roofs and structure which are then consolidated and sent across to the client. These can then be sent on to qualified RICS surveyors for interpretation and analysis for any work needed, saving time and money potentially on scaffolding and/or elevation machinery costs. We can also identify early any remedial actions such as blocked gutter which may be causing roofing issues. Here’s what one of our clients thinks of our services,

Asset & Utilities Inspections
Our drones can also be used to inspect pylons, wind turbines, solar panels and much more. Specialising rigging and high elevation inspection teams are incredibly expensive to hire. The often remote areas of these locations as well make it even harder then to get equipment to the site to be able to carry out such surveys for clients. Not with us. Our drone can launch away from the site in question as long as we continue to comply with the Civil Aviation Authority rules and regulations, allowing us to use our high tech cameras to capture what you want to see, identifying problems quickly and efficiently. All data can be transferred on site if requested prior to arrival, via USB transfer to one of our laptops and then on to a USB or cloud based service for instant delivery to you as the client. We make the task simpler, less stressful, and cheaper.
